    Hip Hip Hooray!

It was my husbands birthday this week and I thought this card and it's sentiment were perfect for the birthday celebration.

EASY...This card went together quickly using the new Birthday Delivery stamp set, Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper, a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Real Red Card Stock and 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Whisper White Card Stock card base. I cut out the fox image along with the super cute banner and using dimensionals was able to get him to pop right off the card. The Stitched Shaped Circle Framelits  provided the perfect anchor for this little guy. So Fun!

BLING... You've got to have a little bling on a card even if it is for a man right? The star in the Metallic Enamel  Shapes were just the perfect touch!

EXTRAS... Can really make a card. I used the striped patterned paper from the Birthday Memories DSP to give my envelope flap that WOW! factor.

Hope you have a great weekend!

    New Lemon Zest Stamp Set!

    • Isn't this a bright fun card? The Lemon Zest stamp set is a fresh, fun and versatile. It's NEW from the 2017-2018 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog.
    • Layers I used 3 layers for this card and popped it up off the card base with some dimensionals to give it some depth.
    • Bling  I added a shiny little rhinestone in the center of the lime and at the top to balance out the card.

This sentiment says it all! I love the different fonts that were used don't you?

    • WOW! I finished off the envelope using the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch. I thought it gave it just the right WOW factor.

    It's been awhile....

It has been so long since I've posted on my blog. It has been a crazy year for me but I'm finally feeling like I can get back in to my creating mode which makes my heart happy!

I chose to make this simple card for a dear friend who does so many amazing things for me. Do you have anyone like that in your life? I sure hope so. She is truly a blessing.

This stamp set is called Grown with Love and I am already in LOVE with it. I used my Stampin' Write markers and a lot of huffing to get this sweet image on paper. I'm not sure if you can see it in the photo but I applied Crystal Effects to give the red flowers a little extra pop of shine.

Card Details: All supplies from Stampin' Up!
    • Start with 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of Whisper White card stock(CS) as your card base
    • Cut a piece of Garden Green CS to 4 x 5 1/4
    • On a piece of 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Whisper White CS stamp the flower pot image that has been inked using Real Red, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie and Black Stampin' Write markers. Make sure you give it a good huff to keep the ink moist
    • Apply Crystal Effects to the red flowers and let dry for at least 30 minutes
    • Tie a piece of Real Red ribbon to the left side of card and then adhere to Garden Green CS
    • Dot with a few Candy Dots. I used the Garden Green from the Regals collection
    • Adhere to card base using Stampin' Dimensionals
