Coffee Cafe Mini Coffee Cups - FREE Template!

I am having so much fun with the NEW Coffee Cafe Stamp Set from 2017-2018 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog. My project today would make the perfect gift for any coffee lover.
  • I found these adorable 4 oz. mini coffee cups on-line at the Webstaurant Store. If you are interested in purchasing them click HERE. You can also purchase the lids HERE.
  • I made a template for the cup cover and belly band - available for download HERE.
  • Once you have downloaded the template cut out the cover and belly band and trace onto Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. I used the large polka dot pattern for the cover and the woodgrain pattern for the belly band. Cut out pieces and adhere to coffee cup with Liquid Glue.
  • I stamped the Life Happens Coffee Helps sentiment by using the Garden Green and Early Espresso Stampin' Write Markers. Just color the images on the stamp set with the paintbrush end of the marker and then give it a big HUFF to add some moisture, then stamp onto Whisper White Cardstock.
  • Cut out the sentiment with big shot using the 3rd smallest Lots of Labels Framelits Die. Punch a hole in each end with the 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch.
  • Cut a 12" piece of Linen Thread. Thread through holes and tie around coffee cup and add a bow. I cheated a little by adding Stampin' Dimensionals to anchor the banner.
  • Stamp heart image with Soft Sky Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and cut out tag from the Coffee Cups Framelits Die set. Tie onto linen thread.
  • Stamp the coffee bean image from the Coffee Cafe Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink and cut out using the coffee bean die from the Coffee Cups Framelits Die set. Adhere to the top of the cup using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Thanks Kindly

Thought I would share an oldie but goodie card I made awhile back using the One Big Meaning stamp set. The designer series paper and washi is retired but I still love the sketch layout on this card and thought I would share. Simple, clean and timeless.

I love the bold colors found in the paper but you could use any bright cheery paper you have on hand to create this look.  Adding some Washi Tape is a quick easy way to give your card envelope a little pop of color. See my tip below.

Live Your Dream!

Happy Monday! The idea for my card today came from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog. Yep, the catalog is full of inspiration for new and seasoned stampers. If you would like a catalog and do not have a demonstrator I would be glad to send you one. Just email me. :)

  • STAMP used for this cute card is the Dare To Dream which is a hostess stamp set. It is yours for only $10.00 with a qualifying purchase.
  • PUNCHED that fluffy white cloud out using the new Pretty Label punch and adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • EMBELLISHMENTS can make a card. I LOVE to use them as much as I can.  I cut a 1/4" off the right side of the front flap of a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card base and adhered the Daffodil Striped Washi from the Basics Pack 2 onto the bottom right side of the card. Then I used the Bermuda Bay starburst image Washi from the Basics Pack 3 to line the outside edge of the right side of the front of my card.
Take a closer LOOK!

  • CARDSTOCK .....just used Whisper White Card Stock. Easy Peasy!
  • INK - Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight
  • MORE EMBELLISHMENT! - I used the clear Wink of Stella Brush to give those clouds a shimmery look.  They just pop off the card! The hot air balloon was stamped and cut out by hand and added with Stampin' Dimensionals.

New Lemon Zest Stamp Set!

  • Isn't this a bright fun card? The Lemon Zest stamp set is a fresh, fun and versatile. It's NEW from the 2017-2018 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog.
  • Layers I used 3 layers for this card and popped it up off the card base with some dimensionals to give it some depth.
  • Bling  I added a shiny little rhinestone in the center of the lime and at the top to balance out the card.

This sentiment says it all! I love the different fonts that were used don't you?

  • WOW! I finished off the envelope using the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch. I thought it gave it just the right WOW factor.

It's been awhile....

It has been so long since I've posted on my blog. It has been a crazy year for me but I'm finally feeling like I can get back in to my creating mode which makes my heart happy!

I chose to make this simple card for a dear friend who does so many amazing things for me. Do you have anyone like that in your life? I sure hope so. She is truly a blessing.

This stamp set is called Grown with Love and I am already in LOVE with it. I used my Stampin' Write markers and a lot of huffing to get this sweet image on paper. I'm not sure if you can see it in the photo but I applied Crystal Effects to give the red flowers a little extra pop of shine.

Card Details: All supplies from Stampin' Up!
  • Start with 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of Whisper White card stock(CS) as your card base
  • Cut a piece of Garden Green CS to 4 x 5 1/4
  • On a piece of 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Whisper White CS stamp the flower pot image that has been inked using Real Red, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie and Black Stampin' Write markers. Make sure you give it a good huff to keep the ink moist
  • Apply Crystal Effects to the red flowers and let dry for at least 30 minutes
  • Tie a piece of Real Red ribbon to the left side of card and then adhere to Garden Green CS
  • Dot with a few Candy Dots. I used the Garden Green from the Regals collection
  • Adhere to card base using Stampin' Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!

Hugs, Laurie
