Buddy's Home!

Buddy is home and resting comfortably after a very eventful day yesterday. His surgery went well and he has plenty of pain medication to keep him comfortable. I think the thing that is making him the most uncomfortable in the cone that he has to wear around his head to keep him from licking his sutures. All in all he is one lucky dog!

Well do you want to know what he swallowed?

Another ACORN!!!!!! Even after we chopped down the tree! We still can't figure out where he got it from. Oh well, I am just so glad to have my Buddy back home safe and sound.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

  1. Another acorn!?!? Little stinker. My puppy is wearing the same huge cone right now. She was fixed on Monday and is supposed to wear it till next Wednesday. SO tired of her running into me with it on. They look so pitiful. Hope Buddy continues to recover well!

  4. Thank you for the update! I'm glad to know Buddy is feeling better- it can't be fun to have an acorn in your body! You would think he would have learned his lesson.... Our cat is the same way, even after being attacked by a coyote, he wants to go outside again. Silly animals...
